Stepping into Spring

Spring is finally here which means summer is just that much closer. However as for now, lets take a look at the spring fashion. Spring is the season where flowers blossom and colours come out, as it signifies the ends of cold winter hibernation. So here are the top 5 spring fashion trends:

1. BOLD AND BRIGHTS In spring, there tends to be more colours. This year the colour scheme is the bright and bold. The bright and bold colours will add a punch to your outfit, whether its some bright red pants or some calcite green jeans. It will instantly add some life in into your outfit.

Tip: If you're like me and don't quite like the bright colours, start off with just wearing 1 bright coloured item whether it be a coloured jean, a bright top or even shoes. Wear it with either a black or white top or pant, this will allow you to feel a bit more comfortable.

2. Animals
Whether it is a tiger face on a sweater or a leopard printed skirt. Animal prints seem to pop up, somewhere in this season's runway. The Kenzo jumper with the colourful tiger seems to be one everyone's radar. Whilst, on the Just Cavalli runway there was a splash of colour within animal. This trend will allow you to ROAR through spring.

3. Sheer
This season sheer has been on many runways from Jill Stuart to Phillip Lim's. Sheer items with either the interweaving of lace or printed, it adds a sense of femininity and elegance. These beautiful piece of clothing is a definite must have in your wardrobe this season.

4. Monochrome
With springs comes the season for the races. This spring, we’ll see the jockey's jersey monochrome checkers at the races and in everyone wardrobe. Another monochrome print that are gracing the runway are black and white stripes. Designers, Jac & Jack to Marc Jacobs are embracing this simplistic colour tone but making it very sophisticated.
